Pioneer in the Establishment of NSDMA, Home Department, Government of Nagaland

Dr. Johnny Ruangmei is the pioneer in the establishment of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) under the Home Department, Government of Nagaland.

Since its inception in 2011, he has played a foundational and transformative role in conceptualizing, structuring, and operationalizing NSDMA from the ground up—shaping it into a vibrant, modern, nationally and internationally recognised disaster management institution from Nagaland.
